-THE DESIGNER-
Hi, I am Kimi Chronis and I am the designer and maker behind Sun & Song. After studying Finance and Interior Design at the University of Florida, I moved to California to work as a LEED accredited Interior Designer. It was there that I fell in love with textiles and patterns (and my future hubby).

I began my career as a surface pattern designer when I started Fish Lips Paper Designs in 2007, designing 100% recycled gift wrap paper with a bold and modern aesthetic. My eco-friendly papers were sold in stores all over the world. Over time, I grew and changed as a designer and developed a strong desire to create products with a longer life that people could use for many years. I printed my first design on fabric in 2015 and I was instantly hooked. As a result, my business slowly changed and has evolved into...Sun & Song. Seeing my patterns come to life on fabric and working with my hands makes me feel extremely lucky.

My hunky hubs and I currently live in sunny Tennessee with our 4 awesome kids. When I am not designing, sewing or corralling my crazy crew, I am probably renovating something at my home or pinning Paleo dessert recipes. Sunshine and music always make me happy and I try to remember to enjoy them a little bit everyday!

At its core, Sun & Song is about everyday ways to enjoy life. Out of life's many simple pleasures, two invariably seem to standout - a good dose of sunshine and your favorite tunes! Whether you are busy and stressed or relaxed and happy, there is always room for sun and song. We find they will ease the bad days and amplify the good ones. So consider this your reminder: take a minute to feel the sun on your face and listen to your favorite music. Your heart and mind will thank you.
